Part-Time Universal Relationship Banker
Lake Nona

General Responsibilities:

Provides superior customer service to current and prospective bank customers (collectively, clients); Maintains efficient and accurate transaction processing; Cross-sells bank products as appropriate for the client. Requires the ability to handle numerous duties, often simultaneously, while maintaining a conscientious attention to detail and security, and projecting a positive, friendly, professional demeanor. Responsible for the servicing of clients, including opening accounts as well as handling maintenance and informational requests. Advises customers and provides guidance as to which products and services will best meet the customer's need.

 

Essential Functions / Duties:

  1. Embraces the Sunshine Bank corporate values as set forth in the foundation booklet and infuses those values throughout the company.
  2. Promotes and maintains positive relations with all contacts, customers, potential customers and co-workers. Provides a prompt response to customer questions, issues and problems. 
  3. Assures that the branch environment is warm, welcoming, and operating in a customer-centric and efficient manner. 
  4. Operates a teller terminal which includes, but is not limited to, accurately posting deposit and withdrawal transactions, placing holds on accounts and performing various account inquiries. Accurately counts U.S. Currency and makes change. Performs transactions including check cashing, processing loan payments, handles entry and payments of safe deposit boxes and follows proper procedures, cashes savings bonds, issues official Bank checks, night drop deposits, and mail deposits. Assists in settlement of the ATM and Vault when applicable. Assists in branch's daily settlement procedures. On a daily basis, settles and balances a teller cash drawer successfully.
  5. Efficiently open customer accounts while providing quality customer service.
  6. Utilizes customer profile information and needs-based selling techniques to determine which products and services are most appropriate for each client and cross-sells bank products and services based on this information and approach. Listens for referral clues during conversations with customers.
  7. Make outbound calls to customers to strengthen and enhance customer relationships.
  8. Ensures that all banking compliance standards are met and attends required training. Follows bank policy/guidelines, within authorized limits and with appropriate approvals. Is knowledgeable of and complies with all internal policies, procedures and banking regulations that apply to them or the position. 
  9. Performs as a team member in allocating and coordinating the work flow and contributing to the fulfillment of the bank's objectives and goals.
  10. Attends and participates in branch meetings. 
  11. Attends and participates in all required training.
